For the second time the "Gramona Amuse" competition takes place in Switzerland and WOEHRLE PIROLA supports the Smith & Smith Wine Company in the media and PR work. Wine retailer Smith & Smith and presenting partner Gramona invite chefs and wine enthusiasts in Switzerlandto participate. The final between the top ten from the preliminary decision with live preparation before the expert jury and subsequent tasting and evaluation by them will take place in mid-October in the Swiss Hotel Management School Lucerne (SHL). Last year, the jurors and media representatives were impressed by the diversity of taste, conceptual depth and aesthetics of the Top Ten creations. Philipp Heid, Chef de Cuisine, and Steffi Heid, Chef de Service, from the Prisma at the Parkhotel Vitznau, won the competition with their Amuse Bouche "Jakobsmuschel mit Kohlrabi, Apfel, Koriander".
The winning couple will win a trip to Barcelona, including a visit to the Gramona winery and dinner in the three-star restaurant "El Celler de Can Roca". In 2019, a total of 47 pairs of participants from the most varied restaurants in Switzerland took part in the "Gramona Amuse Bouche 2019" competition. The aim was to create an Amuse Bouche to match the Gran Reserva Imperial Brut of the Spanish winery Gramona. The organizer now have a new theme "plant based - fine food", which the participating teams should use as a guideline for the creation of the Amuse Bouche.
